15-year-old candidate breaks JAMB record, scores 99 in Mathematics

Lotanna Azuokeke, a 15-year-old student of Bishop Otubelu Juniorate, Trans Ekulu, Enugu state, has reportedly broken a Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) record by getting 99 marks out of a possible 100 in the Mathematics section of the recently concluded Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME).

According to Dr Chiwuike Uba, the Media Adviser to the Bishop of the Diocese of Nike (Anglican Communion), the school’s founder, the intelligent boy also received a stunning 337/400 points in the examination.

Uba went on to say that Azuokeke, a resident of Oba in Anambra State’s Idemmili South LGA, received 88 points in chemistry, 86 in physics, and 64 in English.

He stated that Azuokeke applied to study electrical/electronic engineering at his preferred college, the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN).
