Chef Wu stated that she was making a public service announcement to other culinary experts in Nigeria, urging them to stop allowing fraudulent food critics to discredit their craft.

She disclosed that they first got into an altercation after Famakin allegedly made a non-factual review of a Jollof rice and when she called him out on it, he blocked her.

The critic was said to have proceeded to respond to a comment by her podcast co-host, Chef Vee where he called Chef Wu a b*tch.

In addition to calling him fraudulent, Wu said the only reason he comes up when “biggest food critic in Nigeria” is searched on Google is that he takes advantage of SEO by plastering those words all over his social media.
