Omowunmi Aloba, the wife of late singer Mohbad, has issued a strong disclaimer in response to the allegations made by her sister, Karimot.
Karimot had accused Mohbad of infecting Omowunmi with sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) as she criticized Mohbad’s father, Joseph Aloba, for requesting a DNA test on their grandson, Liam.

Taking to her Instagram stories, Omowunmi debunked her sister’s claims, stating that she has never accused her late husband of giving her STDs.
She also refuted allegations of Mohbad’s involvement in a secret cult or illicit drug use.
“I have never personally at any time told anyone that my husband gave me STDs, belonged to a cult, or was on drugs, and neither have I told anyone that he beats me,” Omowunmi clarified.
She expressed gratitude for the love and support she has received, while also acknowledging the challenges of dealing with accusations and defending her late husband’s memory.
The mother of one expressed her desire for her son to know that his father was a good man who took care of her. She thanked her supporters and expressed her readiness to face the challenges since her husband could no longer defend her.
Omowunmi emphasized her love and respect for her late husband, and requested that those who care for her also honor his memory.
