Jenna Kanell is an American actress, director, writer and stunt performer. She is best known for playing Tara Heyes in Terrifier (2016) and Kim Hansen in The Bye Bye Man (2017). In both horror films, Kanell performed her stunt work. She has also been featured in popular television series, such as the Disney+ miniseries WandaVision (2021) and the Showtime anthology series The First Lady (2022).
Kanell continues to carve a niche for herself in Hollywood as she recently made an award-winning film with her neurodivergent brother.

Kanell is a woman of many talents. She began her career in 2010 when she starred in short films such as Love Transcends and Alone. Her first feature film was A Girl Named Clyde.
Kanell continued to take on roles in film and television series, such as Drop Dead Diva, Vampire Diaries, NCIS, New Orleans, Gunshots and Princess Avengers: World Cleansers. However, Kanell gained fame after playing Tara Heyes in Damien Leone’s slasher film, Terrifier. Terrifier gained a cult following after its debut on Netflix.
She also played a supporting role as Kim Hansen in Stacy Title’s horror film, The Bye Bye Man, which received negative reviews. She also starred in Max & the Monster, a dark comedy short film she wrote, directed and produced which premiered on the opening night of the 2018 Austin Film Festival.
