The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) says it will conduct supplementary polls for some national assembly elections after March 11.

Festus Okoye, the national commissioner of INEC, stated in a statement that the organization is aware of problems in various senatorial districts and federal constituencies.

In addition, INEC promised that it would hold the upcoming elections in the federal districts of Igueben, Esan-central/Esan-west, and Enugu East in the Edo state on March 11.

Elections in the Esan and Igueben federal constituency in Edo state were postponed by the electoral commission because a party’s emblem was absent from the ballot paper.

On February 25, INEC held national presidential and national assembly elections.

The winner of the election was proclaimed to be Bola Tinubu, a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

When winners of the national assembly elections will receive their certificates of return, the commission stated it would make the announcement in a statement.
