Nigerian singer and songwriter Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, professionally known as Ayra Starr, has revealed that she graduated from university at the age of 18.
The Mavin Records signee stated that her music career did not begin until she was 18 years old due to her mother’s insistence that she first obtain a degree.

Ayra Starr revealed this while being interviewed in Kenya during a recent visit, noting that she enjoys reading books.
The 20-year-old stated that she completed her WAEC exams in SS2, a year before she was supposed to complete secondary school and write the entrance exams.

According to Ayra Starr, she aced them and was accepted to study International Relations and Political Science at a higher education institution in the Benin Republic.
The ‘Rush’ singer stated that she intends to further her education, but due to her hectic schedule, she is currently only taking French, piano, and music lessons.
