Nigerian singer and songwriter, Joseph Akinwale, known professionally as Joeboy, has revealed that he charges less to perform or get booked in Nigeria than he does abroad.

In an interview with Culture Daily Live, the singer said he charges less in Nigeria as he puts different economies into consideration while billing clients.

He said, from his perspective, sometimes when you charge the same prices as you charge internationally in Nigeria, you are forced to beat down the price since no one will book an artist with such high prices.
