Nigerian music sensation, David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has responded to allegations of unpaid debts made by a record producer, Napji.

Napji claimed to have worked on Davido’s tracks “Fem,” “Jowo,” and “Sunlight,” yet has not received royalties for his contributions.

Napji further said he produced the aforementioned songs from the ‘Unavailable’ singer’s 2020 album, ‘A Better Time,’ but has not yet received royalties for his work.

He pledged to disclose more information as he pursues the payment owed to him.

Taking to his Twitter page on Tuesday, Napji wrote: “I am Napji, producer behind Fem, Jowo and Sunlight on @davido album (A better time).Which was released 13th November 2020.

“I was paid an advance of 500 thousand naira for each of the songs. I will be releasing more information as I seek to collect my royalties & publishing.”

In response to the accusation, Davido neither confirmed nor denied the claim made against him. However, he quoted Napji’s post and insulted his father.

The Grammy nominated artiste simply wrote: “Ur papa”.
