In reacting to the post, many social media users have wondered why he had to return the money and still get deported, while some others urged the authorities to tender justice with mercy.

Also, one hilarious tweep, @TorTiv01, has said God won’t give the young man such an opportunity again!😏 while another said, “But God loves honesty and reward honest people 😒.”

One @akano_adeolu “I mean hadn’t been he knew, he would be deported, he would have rather keep the money to himself or leave it on the street. But notwithstanding, he would definitely be arrested someday for not having a residence card or stuff.”
