Wizkid to headline Rolling Loud music festival in Toronto /Skabash

Award-winning musician, Wizkid is among the artistes named for the first-ever Canadian edition of the Rolling Loud music festival holding at the Ontario Place in Toronto.

The yearly hip-hop festival, which usually takes place in the neighbouring United States, will hold between September 9 and 11, 2022.

The other two leading musicians for the festival are US rapper and pioneer in using melodies and vocal effects in modern rap music, Future, and Dave, a British rapper. Other musicians billed to thrill the audience are Migos, Lil Uzi Vert, Skepta, Roddy Ricch, Trippie Redd, Bia, Lil Yachty, and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie.

In a post, the organisers of the festival said the event would be held in line with the latest public health guidance because of Corona Virus.

“Rolling Loud Toronto will continue to work with public health authorities to ensure our policies are in accordance with the latest public health guidance in Ontario,” it wrote.

“Currently, proof of vaccination is not required for outdoor events in Ontario. Please note that requirements and protocols, such as vaccination, are subject to change, so be sure to check back closer to the event for the latest information.”

The Rolling Loud music festival is arguably the largest hip-hop festival in the world.
