Why Nigerians become less religious when they travel abroad - Woman reveals

Progress’s TikTok video about Nigerians becoming less religious after moving abroad has sparked a debate online.

She suggests that many Nigerians maintain a strong relationship with God when they are still struggling and seeking assistance from Him. However, after moving abroad and gaining access to various amenities and comforts, some individuals may feel less inclined to attend religious services or pray regularly.

While some people agree with her perspective, others have different opinions on the matter. Some argue that moving abroad may actually fuel the need to be more prayerful, especially in navigating new challenges and uncertainties in a foreign country.
