Popular plus-sized model and actress, Monalisa Stephen has said that she was offended when famous singer, Teniola Apata, popularly known as Teni celebrated her weight loss online.
Teni had recently taken to her social media to surprise her fans with her 75-pound weight loss transformation without surgery. She shared pictures of her newly trimmed look. It should be recalled that she decided to lose weight to save her life because according to the For your case hit singer, her bigger size was taking a toll on her health.

Monalisa Stephen, a plus-size model known for championing body positivity, reacted to this in a recent episode of The Honest Bunch podcast. She stated that Teni indirectly set her up for trolling by netizens with her statement because people took to the comments to tag her on the post, urging Monalisa to also shed some pounds.

She said that even though she does not mind being called “fat,” she hates it when it is said that being fat is unhealthy. She went further to claim that Teni put her on the spot just like when actress Eniola Badmus underwent gastric bypass surgery to lose weight. Monalisa claimed to have been body-shamed by social media bullies.
