Canada-based comedian Maurice Imadu, better known as MC Morris, has explained why fellow comedian Atunyota Alleluya Akpobome,  professionally known as Ali Baba, and actor Osita Iheme, also known as Pawpaw, were both stopped from entering Canada.

Ali Baba and Pawpaw, along with actors Aki and Yomi Fabiyi, were scheduled to perform at MC Morris’ concert, which was held on May 21st in Canada. However, to their disappointment, both Ali Baba and Pawpaw were denied admittance into the country.

It was revealed that Ali Baba’s visa had expired the previous month, and all attempts to renew it had been unsuccessful. On the other hand, the reason behind Pawpaw’s denial of entry was not explained by MC Morris. Despite the setback, MC Morris assured their supporters that a cost-effective makeup show would be arranged.

“We were denied entry voluntarily. We were instructed to obtain our visas,” Ali Baba expressed. “Our intention was to come and entertain all of you. While Pawpaw and I would have to return, Aki and Yomi Fabiyi would remain,” he added.
