Bryce Maximus James is the second child of the American basketball star, Lebron James, and Savannah James. He was born on June 14, 2007, in Cleveland, Ohio in the United States of America.
James attended Sierra Canyon School in Chatsworth, Los Angeles. He was later transferred to Campbell Hall School ahead of his junior year of high school.

Like his dad, James is making waves in American basketball. He has been touted to be the “heir” to his father LeBron Jame’s throne in the NBA. In December 2022, Bryce signed a NIL contract with Klutch Sports.
His school, Campbell Hall, hired former Vanderbilt assistant coach, David Grace, to become their basketball programme’s new head coach. The coach expressed his desire to tutor the youngster, whose outstanding abilities were already evident on the court.
“I want Bryce, if I get to coach him, to be Bryce,” David Grace told ESPN‘s Myron Medcalf. “Because that’s special, and I want him to get the most out of his experience here at Campbell Hall and grow. He’s going to have way more than just me helping, but I’m going to try to do my part.
“I understand where he’s coming from to a point. I’m not him. My family wasn’t in that spotlight, but I’ve been around the spotlight and I can share my experiences, or I can just understand his experiences. That’s where I’ll grow as a coach.”

James has an older brother named LeBron “Bronny” James Jr., who was born on October 6, 2004, in Cleveland. Like his dad and younger brother, Bronny is a fast-rising basketball star. At the age of 10, played for the Miami City Ballers and Houston-based Gulf Coast Blue Chips. He also played for Old Trail School in Bath Township, Summit County, Ohio, where he attended middle school, and led his team to an Independent School League tournament win. By 2015, he received scholarship offers and letters of interest from college basketball programmes, which his father rejected – citing that Bronny was too young.

Zhuri Nova James is James’ only sister and the youngest in the family. She was born on October 22, 2014, in Cleveland. Zhuri may be young but she created a popular YouTube channel, “All Things Zhuri”, which was launched when she was five but the channel has been inactive for a few years. Bryce James’ father, LeBron James is an American professional basketball player who plays for the NBA team, the Los Angeles Lakers. Nicknamed “King James”, he is widely regarded as one of the greatest players in the history of basketball. James is often compared to American basketball legend, Michael Jordan, in debates over who is the greatest of all time.
A native of Akron, Ohio, James grew up playing basketball. Even in high school, he was already named a future NBA superstar due to his all-around scoring, passing, athleticism and playmaking abilities.
The Lakers’ small forward is the all-time leading scorer in NBA history and ranks fourth in career assists. He has won four NBA championships with Miami Heat, Lakers and Cleveland Cavaliers in 10 NBA Finals. James also won four Most Valuable Player (MVP) Awards, four Finals MVP Awards and two Olympic gold medals, and has been named to the NBA All-Star team 19 times. Bryce’s mother, Savannah James is an American businesswoman and philanthropist. She opened a juicery in 2013 and later created a furniture line, “Home Court” with American Signature in 2018. The mother of three also dedicates most of her time to helping to “encourage and empower girls and young women”, according to Cleveland Magazine. She has spoken at several fundraising events, like the Akron Community Foundation’s For Women, Forever endowment dinner. She was also an honorary chair for the YWCA Greater Cleveland’s Circle fundraiser. In 2017, Savannah launched a mentorship programme called Women of the Future, an initiative that works to empower and support young women in the Akron, Ohio area.
Both James and Savannah met when they were in high school. Savannah was a 16-year-old high school sophomore while James was a year older and attended a rival school. She told Cleveland Magazine that James had asked a friend for her phone number, but she decided to take his number instead.
“One day I’m sitting around — I was probably bored or something — and I’m like, ‘Oh, I forgot! I have this number for this guy that I can call. He seemed interested, so let’s see,'” she said.
James later invited her to one of his basketball games and they linked up with friends to go to Applebee’s afterward. A few weeks later, the couple went on their first solo date at Outback Steakhouse. The couple had an unplanned pregnancy with their first child, Bronny. But it did not slow them down as they went ahead to have two more children.
James and Savannah officially got married in 2013 and they are still together.
