Hazel Oyeze Onou, also known as Whitemoney, is a reality TV star and musician from Nigeria. He is the Big Brother Naija (BBN) Season 6 winner.

Since his introduction on July 24, 2021, fans have continued to ask questions about him. 

Biography 

Whitemoney was born on July 6, 1992. He is an Igbo man born in Kaduna State but is from Enugu State. He didn’t pursue academics past secondary school. 

Career

Whitemoney relocated to Lagos to pursue employment. He tried his hands at various industries, including barbering, commercial photography, maintaining telecommunication towers, and fixing generators. He also made investments in the import and sale of shoes.

His varied hustle to make ends meet was constrained once he started importing designer shoes. His business career improved due to this choice since he made quick sales and met important clientele. He is currently involved in importing designer shoes and has big intentions to advance the industry. He wants to launch his line of footwear. 

Whitemoney has also ventured into music business. He disclosed that he has a few tunes to his credit during one of his conversations with his fellow BBNaija housemates.

Whitemoney Big Brother Naija

Whitemoney came into the limelight when he made his appearance in the Big Brother Naija Season 6 show, the popular reality show, in 2021. He became the fifth housemate in Big Brother Naija’s sixth season. 

Being a sensible yet ambitious young man, Whitemoney had big plans for his time in the Big Brother Naija house. He claimed that his goals were to amuse, have fun, be exposed, and potentially win the grand prize.

Because he was a free-spirited person, he could also gather supporters in the show and on social media. It was not a surprise to many when he was announced as the show’s winner. He received 47 percent of the final votes, beating Liquorose, who received 22.99 percent of the total votes, during the season finale of the competition on October 3, 2021, and was awarded the N90 million grand prize.
