Afterwards, VeryDarkMan was said to have been granted bail by a Federal High Court in Abuja. The controversial social media critic was facing charges related to cyberbullying and was arraigned on May 22.

VeryDarkMan’s arrest came after he posted alleged offensive videos on his Instagram account, making indecent allegations against prominent figures such as Iyabo Ojo and Tonto Dikeh.

The charges against him included the dissemination of content that was deemed “grossly offensive, pornographic, or of an indecent, obscene, or menacing character.”

During the court proceedings, VeryDarkMan denied all the charges brought against him. The prosecution sought his remand in prison, while his legal team requested that he remains in police custody. Ultimately, the court approved the defense’s request, leading to his transfer to the National Cybercrime Centre.

According to reports, VeryDarkMan was released from police custody on Monday after meeting the bail conditions. However, the specific details of his bail conditions have not been disclosed to the public at this time.

It is worth noting that VeryDarkMan had previously been arrested on March 22 but was released on March 31. The initial arrest was based on complaints filed by Tonto Dikeh, Iyabo Ojo, and Samklef.

@nefo_esimai: “A lot of people need to be careful. They don’t know it yet but they have witchcraft tendencies. Someone did not personally offend you, you actually don’t know what the person’s offense is, but you come out publicly to say the person should be locked up just because you think the person talks too much? Is that not coming from a dark heart? If this is not witchcraft, pls what is it?”

@elo_agebeautystudio: “I can’t love VDM less”

@iamtrinityguy: “Verydarkblackman”

@realucheebere: “Don’t play. They’re gonna learn and learn in a hard way if they don’t do the right thing. Good to have you back the Mystery Man”
