Manchester United qualified for the UEFA Europa League quarter-final after beating Real Betis 1-0 at Estadio Benito Villamarin on Thursday night.
The Red Devils had beaten the LaLiga side 4-1 at Old Trafford last week to make the aggregates 5-1.

Real Betis had come into the game hoping to pull a major upset, but several half chances were not enough for Manuel Pellegrini’s men to overturn the three-goal deficit.
After they hit the post early in the first half, Juanmi came close to scoring in the 31st minute, but his attempt was brilliantly saved by David De Gea, his rebound was headed wide.

Bruno Fernandes came close to scoring for Manchester United, but his shot was saved by Rui Silva, who replaced Claudio Bravo in the Betis goal.
Betis came close again in the 53rd minute, but De Gea again saved Ayoze Perez’s header.
Marcus Rashford came close for United but blazed wide after coming face-to-face with the keeper.

The English forward, however, atoned for his miss in the 55th minute, scoring a beautiful shot from outside.

Freiburg vs Juventus

Juventus beat Freiburg 3-0 on aggregate to progress. The Italian giants had beaten their German opponents 1-0 in the first leg before adding two more in the second leg.
Dusan Vlahovic scored the opener from the penalty spot at the Europa-Park Stadion in the 45th minute before Federico Chiesa scored the second in the fifth minute of second-half added time.

Fenerbahce vs Sevilla

Enner Valencia’s 41st-minute penalty was the difference at the Ulker Stadyumu Fenerbahce Sukru Saracoglu Spor Kompleksi as Fenerbahce won 1-0.
However, it was Sevilla who went through after beating the Turkish outfit 2-0 in the first leg.
Feyenoord vs Shakhtar Donetsk

Feyenoord were too hot for Shakhtar who fell 7-1 at the de Kuip.
Santiago Gimenez scored the first in the ninth minute, Orkun Kokcu scored in the 28th and 34th minute, Oussama Idrissi scored in the 49th and 60th minute, while Alireza Jahanbakhsh scored in the 64th minute.
Danilo completed the rout in the 67th minute before Kevin Kelsy scored a consolation for the Ukrainian side.
The Dutch side went through 8-2 on aggregates.
