Biography
Tolulope Oniru was born on 6 July 1983 in London, United Kingdom. She was born into the famous Oniru Royal family. Her father was the late Oba Abiodun Oniru. Her mother, who is a queen, leads a very private life. She came to the limelight when Toolz exposed her as a big fan of the actress Funke Akindele.
Before studying at the City of Westminster College, she had her primary education at Talbot House Preparatory School in Bournemouth, UK. She had her secondary education in Nigeria. She also holds a London Metropolitan University Business and Mass Communication degree.
Career
Toolz began her career while still in school, hosting several talk shows with notable guests.
She worked in the United Kingdom for MTV Europe and Walt Disney Pictures before settling in Nigeria in 2008. She is currently the Beat 99.9 FM’s The Midday Show host.
Each weekday on her discussion show, The Juice, she interviews well-known African entertainers.
