Nigerian singer, Temilade Openiyi, aka Tems, has shared how it feels to be a Grammy-winning artist.
While speaking in an interview posted on X, the 29-year-old said that it’s ‘crazy’ she won a Grammy.

According to her, it made her feel really blessed. She added that having the award is nice and good.
“It feels crazy. Let me be very honest. I feel really blessed, but I’m not incredibly focused on that yet. But it’s really nice. I can’t lie. It’s really good,” she said.

Tems also disclosed that Grammy made it easy for her to get a visa as no question was asked from her at the visa office because of her award.
“I went to the visa office; she didn’t ask me any questions. She was just listing my awards. And she was like, ‘Okay, you have the visa.’ No question asked,” the singer revealed.
In 2023 Tems won the Grammy award for the Best Melodic Rap Performance category for her contribution to the hit song Wait for U with Future and Drake.
