Sonia Ighalo, the ex-wife of footballer Jude Ighalo, has apologized to him for the negative impact her posts may have had on him.
This comes hours after the footballer told her to take a break from putting out posts about him on her Instagram stories.
In response, Sonia tendered a heartfelt apology, admitting that ending a relationship or friendship is always challenging for her.

The mother of three noted how she and Jude had journeyed far together, saying she is grateful for the grace God has bestowed upon their lives.
She said they both struggled to make the marriage work even in the face of divorce.

Sonia stated that she doesn’t bear any resentment towards Ighalo, revealing that they have both forgiven each other and realized their mistakes.
She said if she could wish for anything, it would be for divine grace and strength from God to help them co-parent their three children harmoniously and ensure they feel a sense of pride in them.
