Football fans have mocked Germany after they became the latest giant to be felled at the ongoing Qatar 2022 World Cup on Wednesday.
Japan beat the Germans 2-1 when they met in their Group E opener at the Khalifa International Stadium.
The Germans were favourites going into the match but fell short, like Argentina against Saudi Arabia.
Fans have now taken to social media to mock Germany as they had covered their mouths, depicting gagging, after FIFA banned the captain from wearing a rainbow ‘One Love’ armband in the match.

So, the activists lost….wow, what a shock This is what happens when you prioritize spreading “the message” instead of training. You know, get woke go broke is still a thing #DieMannschaft #GERJPN pic.twitter.com/R7QRNWH2uu

They will not impose their disgust and their ideas on the land of the Arabs. There is nothing left but for Germany to speak about freedom of opinion. To hell.#GermanyJapan #Qatar2022 #지구에서년지성아_환영해

supporting disgusting perverts. Citizens face silence in front of their demands. While they force Arab and Muslim countries to follow their dirty beliefs. Focus on the field and quit the bullshit or you lose both ⚽️. pic.twitter.com/wyWI9GgybS
