Nigerian rapper and activist, Eedris Abdulkareem has had a successful kidney transplant surgery.
This was disclosed in a statement by Myke Pam on behalf of his management, Lakreem Entertainment.
Pam in the statement made public on Monday, August 21, 2022, revealed that both the rapper and his wife, who was the donor were recuperating fine.
“As the recuperation and healing process begins for both of them, with the best that science can offer, under the ever benevolent gaze of the Almighty God, surrounded by the love and care of family, we ask that the prayers and support be sustained as they gradually get back on their feet again,” the statement read in part.
The management also appreciated well-meaning Nigerians and industry colleagues, home and in diaspora for their support and prayers.
Recall that the activist through his management on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, took to his Instagram handle to appeal to Nigerians for prayers.
In the statement in July, the management said;
“The Lakreem Entertainment Inc. boss has recently been diagnosed with kidney failure and have been undergoing dialysis since the detection at a reputable hospital here in Lagos, Nigeria.”
2face breaks silence on pregnancy rumours
Meanwhile, popular singer 2face Idibia has taken to social media to react following rife rumours of impregnating a banker.
2face took to his Instastory channel on Monday, August 15, 2022, to address the infidelity gossip.
In his comment, the music star scorned rumour-mongers for speaking on a matter they know nothing about.
