City asserted dominance in the early stages, and it took Arsenal some time to establish themselves in the game.

Despite this, Arsenal arguably had the better chances in the first half but lacked the conviction in the final third to convert them.

The match grew more intense after half-time, but clear-cut opportunities were scarce for both teams.

With neither side able to break the deadlock, the match ended 0-0, allowing Liverpool to maintain their position at the top of the Premier League table.
