Netizens have reacted with mixed comments to the viral TikTok of a Nigerian man consoling his tearful woman after, to her disappointment, she gave birth to a girl instead of a boy.
The expectation of the first-time mum was to have a boy child, but she was left disappointed when a baby girl arrived instead.
She was filmed in a car alongside her husband who encouraged her to embrace the child wholeheartedly as the gender of a child is inconsequential.

Despite the comforting words, she kept sobbing while her husband hugged her, saying a boy would be next.
