A Nigerian man has reportedly broken up with his girlfriend after she refused to remove her Display Picture on Whatsapp following Nigerian star David Adeleke, aka Davido’s ‘No DP’ trend.
Yesterday, March 15 2023, the famous singer deleted over 4,000 photos from his Instagram page, leaving only three shots – A photo of his late son, Ifeanyi, one of his wife, and one of his performances at the World Cup in Qatar.

The singer also removed his Instagram Display Picture (DP) and a few hours later his fanbase the “30BG”, also removed their DPs in solidarity with the star, and deleted their posts as well. This led to the ‘Davido’s No DP’ trend which most of his fans followed.
A WhatsApp screenshot was then seen circulating online, in which a man demanded his girlfriend remove her DP in solidarity with Davido, to which she refused.
Allegedly, the man then proceeded to break up with, and block his girlfriend.
