A Nigerian lady, Adedayo Taiwo Janet, has bagged a microbiology degree with a first-class distinction of 4.87 over 5.00 at Olusegun Agaga University of Science and Technology in Ondo State. 

Her academic brilliance not only earned her the title of the overall best-graduating student but also 12 awards and a cash prize of N500,000.

In addition to the financial endowment, Adedayo was offered automatic employment by the Ondo state government.

Sharing the good news on LinkedIn, she expressed her heartfelt gratitude to her mum for being her financial, emotional, and moral support throughout the years.

Adedayo revealed that her mother doubled as her father following her dad’s death. She said she is thankful that she ended up making her proud.
