'Na Calabar boy': Sympathizers show surprising ignorance at rally for Mohbad rally, share false claims

At a recent rally in support of late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad, some participants were surprisingly found to be uninformed about the deceased.

One person claimed that Mohbad’s boss ordered his killing despite his diligent work, while another falsely stated that Mohbad was from Calabar and was killed because he left his employer, Naira Marley.

Asked why they were marching, one of them said; “Na for one of our guys wey die, Mohbad. Na one Calabar guy wey be say he work for him Oga, Naira Marley, em Oga no wan settle am. He come commot, Na em his Oga send people go kill am.”

This led to mixed reactions on social media, with some finding it amusing, while others continued to demand justice in the case.
