'It’s not easy anywhere, N100k worthless in UK' - Nigerian abroad bemoans high living cost 1

A Nigerian woman living in the United Kingdom by the name of Jennifer Barth, has lamented the high cost of living over there.

While reacting to a video of a lady who said any Nigerian who has the opportunity to leave the country and doesn’t leave isn’t alright, Barth stated that there is nowhere to run.

According to her, it is hard everywhere, especially in the UK, where she is.

She said families and friends back home in Nigeria think she is stingy or don’t want to help them, but that is not the case.

Barth explained that there are a lot of expenses to pay in the UK, including water, gas, electricity, TV licenses, house rent, mobile phones, internet, transportation, and monthly bank charges.

She claimed that N100,000 cannot buy anything in the UK, not even foodstuffs.

Barth warned her fellow Nigerians that the grass is not greener on the other side, as widely believed.
