Ozoh Wendy has been named the Best Graduating Student of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) for the 2024 academic year, achieving an impressive 4.93 CGPA.
Wendy, a graduate of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, was honored during the Anambra state-owned university’s convocation ceremony at the Uli campus for her academic excellence, having completed her studies with a first-class degree.

She credited her success to a combination of hard work, perseverance, and the unwavering support of her family and lecturers.
In her valedictory speech, Wendy expressed gratitude to her mentors and peers, emphasizing the value of persistence in overcoming academic challenges.
COOU Vice-Chancellor, Professor Greg Nwakoby, commended Wendy for her outstanding performance, describing her as a role model for future students. As part of her recognition, she received multiple awards, including a cash prize, scholarship offers for further studies, and a special commendation from the university.
Wendy also took to social media to reflect on her journey, writing, “With a CGPA of 4.93, I emerged as the Best Graduating Student (BGS) of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University. It wasn’t easy, but God stood by me and made this possible.”
