Erling Haaland marked his 100th appearance for Manchester City in style on Sunday, scoring his 91st goal for the club in a commanding 2-0 victory over Chelsea.
The reigning champions kicked off their Premier League title defence with a dominant performance at Stamford Bridge.

The prolific Norwegian striker opened the scoring in the 18th minute, expertly slotting the ball past Chelsea goalkeeper, Robert Sanchez.
Haaland was set up by Bernardo Silva and muscled his way between Marc Cucurella and Wesley Fofana before calmly finishing.
Manchester City sealed the victory late in the match when former Chelsea midfielder, Mateo Kovacic, punished his old club.
The Croatian midfielder burst through a disjointed Chelsea defence in the 84th minute and fired a powerful shot into the back of the net, securing three points for the visitors.
Despite some promising attacking moments from Chelsea under their new manager, Enzo Maresca, including efforts from Cole Palmer, Nicolas Jackson, and new signing Pedro Neto, the Blues were outmatched by City’s superior quality and composure.
With this win, Manchester City sent a strong message as they began their quest to retain their Premier League crown.
