Manchester City were 1-0 winners over Inter Milan to win the UEFA Champions League on Saturday night at the Ataturk Stadium, Istanbul, Turkey.

Pep Gurdiola’s men won courtesy of a Rodri strike in the 68th minute. Although City were not at their blistering best, the goal was just enough to win them the coveted trophy.

After losing Kevin De Bruyne to an injury in the first half, City looked less likely to carry the day against a well-organised Inter but Rodri had the final say with his second goal of the competition.
The Cityzens emulated Manchester United’s iconic class of 1999 as they won the Premier League, FA Cup and the Champions League, which Guardiola last won in 2011 at Barcelona.

Inter had their own chances but were unable to beat Ederson in the City goal. Federico Dimarco’s header bounced off the bar, and Ederson made a stunning late save to deny Romelu Lukaku.
