Oakley Neil H. T. Caesar-Su, professionally known as Central Cee, is a British rapper and songwriter who hails from Shepherd’s Bush, London. He was born on June 4, 1998, in Ladbroke Grove, London, to an Irish mother and a Guyanese father. In an interview, he mentioned that his father is Guyanese and Chinese, while his mother is English. He grew up with two younger brothers in Shepherd’s Bush. One of his brothers, Juke Caesar, also appeared on his mixtape, 23, as “Lil Bro”.

Central Cee started recording music at the age of 14 and briefly worked at a shoe store before quitting after he learnt about his wage. He turned to selling drugs as a means to earn money. He made an early appearance on Charlie Sloth’s Fire in the Streets series in 2014, where he adopted the name “Central Cee”. His first notable song appearance was on the “Ain’t on Nuttin Remix” alongside J Hus and others in January 2015.
