Well-meaning Nigerians have taken to social media to react to throwback photos of popular skit maker, Oderhohwo Joseph Efe, popularly called Carter Efe.

The comedian became the centre of attraction online after posting pictures of his days as a fashion designer.

Carter Efe who recently released a record with Berri Tiga in honour of Wizkid titled ‘Machala’ said the song changed his life.

In an earlier tweet, the comedian said Machala will be nominated for the Grammys as he pledged his allegiance to Wizkid’s fanbase called Wizkid FC.

Since its release on July 29, the song has debuted on the US Billboard Afrobeat Charts.

Machala has also hit No. 1 on streaming platforms in Nigeria.

The skit maker had taken to his Instagram handle to both celebrate and brag about being the first comedian in Nigeria to achieve that milestone.


Nigerian lady prays for Nigeria

Meanwhile, a Nigerian lady who recently moved to Canada has sent her good wishes to the country.

The lady identified as Phil Divina took to TikTok to share a video which chronicles her trip from Nigeria to Canada.

The video reveals her onboard her flight to Canada and her pose for a picture upon arriving the North America country.

Divina disclosed that her goal is to thrive abroad while she prays for a better Nigeria.
