A video of a white schoolboy dancing to African breakout star Divine Ikubor, aka Rema’s hit song, ‘Calm Down’ at a Mother’s Day celebration in school has gone viral on social media.
The song Calm Down by Rema and American artiste Selena Gomez rose in the charts almost immediately after its release.
Many people have since shared videos of themselves grooving to the song’s upbeat melody.

In a video shared on Instagram, a group of young white schoolchildren were gathered at a hall to commemorate Mother’s Day (March 19, 2023), presumably at a school event.
A uniform-clad schoolboy stood up and began to dance as Rema’s Calm down came on through the speakers.
While the boy danced enthusiastically to the song, other kids joined in and tried to match his steps as the audience cheered them on.

“Do it big, do it right, and do it with style,” the caption read, “Mother’s Day celebration.”
