Entrepreneur and former reality star, Laura Ikeji-Kanu has shared her disappointing experience with a pair of luxury shoes.

In an Instagram video, she revealed that her white Louboutin Hot Chick shoes, purchased for $650 (N1.053m), has now turned yellow, losing its original color.

In contrast, she showed off another pair of shoes she bought for $59 (N95,580) in 2020, which still retained its original color.

Laura Ikeji called out expensive shoe vendors, accusing them of producing low-quality products that easily get damaged, with heels that often fall off quickly.

Her post generated a debate, with some netizens sharing similar experiences and others defending luxury brands.

Nkechi Blessing was among the netizens who reacted, saying that cheaper shoes have always been better.
