A Nigerian lady has taken to TikTok to lament the high cost of services in the Lekki area of Lagos State.
The lady with the handle @airhostess_vlog said she had moved there from the mainland two months ago.

According to her, the Brazilian waxing, which she does for N10,000 on the mainland, was called N25,000 in Lekki.
She added that underarm waxing, which is N4,000 on the mainland, is a whopping N15,000 on the island.
@airhostess_vlog wondered whether it was fellow ladies who were making things expensive, as she recounted an experience where a woman entered a shop and complained about the price of footwear being too low, questioning if it’s fake.

She stated that Lekki big girls believe that when the price of a product or service is high, it means they are getting the original product or the best service, respectively.
She maintained that Lagos Island is overrated and that many of the girls there are living fake lives.
