Olasumbo, a Nigerian lady, took to social media to share the method an ‘okada’ man used to get her number.
Olasumbo claimed on Twitter that she hired a bike to take her to her destination, but due to the ongoing cash crunch, she decided to pay him with an electronic money transfer.

However, because he did not receive the credit alert immediately, he requested her phone number to contact her if he still didn’t get the alert later on, so she would not have to wait any longer.
The bike man promised to call her later for a follow-up if the money did not go through.
But later on, the man messaged her in Yoruba, asking if he could take her out on a date, and the young lady was taken aback.

She then took to twitter to recount the tale, and blamed the currency shortage on CBN Governor Godwin Emefiele’s naira redesign strategy.
“I took bike today and transferred, bikeman did not get alert so he asked for my number so he does not keep me waiting,” she wrote.
“Bike man called me this evening and said: mo fe gbe e jade( i want to take you out) Emefiele you do this one.”
