Kano religious police, Hisbah apprehended a man seen carrying a hairstyle they termed ‘sinful.’
The religious police team arrested the man and shaved off the hairstyle he had on him.

The Nations Newspapers shared the video of the young man who didn’t create any scene but humbled himself as his hair was shaved off.
The unnamed man was later released to proceed on his journey after he had been given a skin cut that left no hairs at all.
Passerbys watched in amusement as the drama unfolded but couldn’t intervene to rescue the young man.
Reactions: This is Totally UnIslamic
Mixed reactions have followed the video post; while some condemn the act totally, others called it a welcome development.
One @Isah Muhammad said, “It is good to restore decency and good moral among this guys for trying to deviate from their charity,” while Frank Ekem’s believe this type of Islam seems different from that of Dubai and Saudi.
Another user, @Olusoji Apataola Fabuda JP, said, “I love this once his acting under the state law. What we lack in our society is enforcement, let all state have the police that will enforce state laws, including laws on decent or moral behaviour, while @Bilya Abdullahi said, “This is totally unIslamic, but personal interest, Islam allow people to comp their hairs to be good.”

However, one @Femi J. Ajibade: called it a welcome development, stating that anybody that leaves his hair like a criminal should be forced to barbe it, while @Njoku Modestus Chimenka said, “How can you determine the way one should live his life, it’s up to for the respective individual to either choose to live a good and Holy life or live bad and unholy life. Majority are not educated as to know their fundamental human rights.”

Hisbah Secretary Celebrates Sallah with 3 Wives and 19 Children
In another news, a Nigerian man celebrated Sallah in grand style by showcasing his lovely family, which comprises his three wives and 19 children.
The man, Baba Lawal, on social media platform Facebook, praised Allah for blessing him with three wives and 19 children.
Baba Lawal is a lecturer at the Umar Bin Khattab College of Education Kaduna, and he also doubles as the secretary at the Kaduna State Police, popularly called Hisbah.
