@chisabarant: “There’s no need to cry. The man’s on a journey, it is a temporary position and he will achieve his ambitions in time. This too shall pass and there are better days ahead.”
@evesoal: “We don’t do job titles in the U.K. we need to pay bills and some of those jobs pay you more than a bank manager. There’s dignity in labour and everyone has their reasons for japa.”
@thefoodnetworknig2: “Na you wan cry bro! He could have been struggling to pay school fees with that “oga job”! Some want power while some want peace!”
@ufuomamoses: “Security jobs in the uk are licensed Jobs and are well paid jobs. He earns way better than a bank manager in Nigeria.”
@scentbyoreobackup: “He will rise again ❤️ it’s just a matter of time, resilience and dedication.”
@wilsluv11: “Una go just come online dey spew anyhow, if you move from your country first thing you do is get any kind of job to keep going while you wait for your dream job.
If I tell you my story na him be say you go carry the whole of Instagram discuss me for the rest of your life. Do not despise the days of your little beginning. That man knows he might have been kidn@pped by now if he was still in Nigeria. No good healthcare or power supply in Nigeria everything jakajaka who wants such environment when abroad you are enjoying every good things. Go back to that place in 2 years if you will see him and keep looking at his LinkedIn in 2 years to see the update.”
@okm_herbal: “You go cry bruv. He relocated, of course he’s going to start all over, besides he’s doing well and maybe better than when he was a high position but low s3lary.”
@prudyice_: “uk is not for a proud man ! it will humble you …. because every job is honorable here !! in my opinion it’s a culture we should learn and adopt … we look down on jobs and people too much and that’s why most people struggle with blending in …….”
@fara_seun: “Because you saw him as a security man in the United Kingdom is not degrading; get that into your consciousness. Second, stop making this generalisations thinking we are all ‘levelled to the ground’ as you have stated it. I, by Gods grace am Nigerian and I head a department at a university in the same United Kingdom. The difference is in knowing (information). By the way, when dem send you bills of £470, nobody will tell you before you throw your cv out again.”
@omaluhe: “So many “security men” in Canada be driving benz and range rovers. They earn waay more than most white collar jobs. Plumbers and electricians too. These re high paid jobs.”
@zainabmarwa1: “Cried for what. People and talking rubbish. His life quality is probably better over there.”
@dejoke____a: “Even the white men do the same job and they’re not feeling bad about it. Security in Nigeria no fit stand security for uk. So leave him to do his job with happiness.”
@ig_fbb: “Japa didn’t level him to ground zero. He hit rock bottom before leaving Nigeria. No one leaves Nigeria on a high to become a common store security.
It’s a coping mechanism for him, and he’ll be just fine.”
@forolistic: “That’s what exchange rate turned educated and experienced Nigerians into.”
