Janine Tate was born in Luton, Bedfordshire, East of England, in 1992. She is the only daughter of the late Emory Andrew Tate II. At the age of five, Tate, who had earlier moved from the United States, returned to the United Kingdom with her mother and brothers, following her parents’ divorce in 1997.
Moving to the United Kingdom, her mother and siblings settled in Luton, Bedfordshire. Tate went on to have her secondary school education in the United Kingdom. She subsequently attended the J. David Rosenberg College of Law, University of Kentucky, where she obtained a law degree.

Janine Tate’s career is very different from the chosen careers of her two elder brothers. While her brothers are famous on social media and in the kickboxing world, Janine Tate chose a profession in law. Hence, she is a professional full-time lawyer practising in Kentucky.
She was admitted into the Kentucky Bar on October 23, 2017. She reportedly focuses on commercial and business litigation. Reports also claim that she focuses on insurance and healthcare defence. Irrespective of the various reports, it is known that she is into private legal practice. According to her profile on the Kentucky Bar Association’s website, she is covered by a policy of professional liability insurance.
Tate is always talked about because of how controversial her brothers are. While she works to defend and uphold the law, her brothers are always on the wrong side of the law.
She is also a feminist who focuses on women’s rights. Her brother once mentioned that she goes to feminist rallies and is outspoken on the subject.

Her parents are Eileen and Emory Andrew Tate. Her father, Emory, died on October 17, 2015. While he was alive, Emory Andrew state II was an African-American Air Force veteran. He was also very skilled when it came to playing chess. He was reportedly referred to by the first chess grandmaster, Maurice Ashley, as “a trailblazer for African-American chess”. Emory learnt to play the game as a child and grew into becoming one of the most dangerous, skilled and creative chess players on the US circuit.
As a chess player, he won around 80 tournament games against grandmasters. According to The Sun, Emory passed away as a result of a sudden heart attack. He had a heart attack during a tournament in Milpitas, California and died when he was taken to a local hospital. Her mother was once a catering assistant.
Coming down to her siblings, Janine Tate has two elder brothers, Tristan and Andrew who are public figures.
Tristan is a former kickboxer, influencer, commentator and businessman. He came into the limelight in 2011 following his appearance on the TV show, Shipwrecked: The Island. Tristan has taken part in numerous kickboxing championships, winning twice the International Sports Karate Association’s kickboxing championship (ISKA).

The firstborn of the Tate family and Janine Tate’s eldest brother is Andrew Tate. Just like his younger brother, Andrew is also a businessman, influencer and former kickboxer. Andrew has been described by the media as a known promoter of an “ultra-masculine, ultra-luxurious lifestyle” and a “self-destructive misogynist”, following his various comments on social media.
Andrew and Tristan and two of their associates were arrested on December 29, 2022, for alleged human trafficking and sexual assault in Romania. Various sources have claimed that Tristan acts as Andrew’s lapdog and the relationship between the two brothers is an “odd” one. The brothers are still in the Romanian prison, as of the time of writing this piece.

The former kickboxer also stated that he would choose his brother over his sister at any time. He said: “If my girlfriend asks me to choose between my brother and her before she even finishes the sentence, I will slap that bitch and ask her to never even ask me that again.”
Away from the fight between siblings; Janine Tate is a happily married woman. She is married to Norman Webb. Her husband is a bodybuilder, nutrition and fitness enthusiast and they have a son together. The couple resides in Lexington, Kentucky.
