‘Is that your man’: Shallipopi demands lady's status before dancing with her on stage 1

Nigerian musician, Crown Uzama, who goes by the stage name Shallipopi, seems to have taken a lesson from the backlash received by his colleague, Omah Lay, over a dance video from his show in the United Kingdom.

During Omah Lay’s show, he invited a female fan to join him on stage and danced with her while her boyfriend watched, causing the singer lots of criticisms.

Shallipopi took extra care to make sure the same thing didn’t happen to him during his London show by seeking to know that the lady he called on stage was single before dancing with her.

In the video, Shallipopi could be heard asking the lady who she was with before allowing her to join him on stage. He asked, “Is that your man?” and only danced with her after she confirmed that the male fan in the audience was not her boyfriend.
