Tonto made this known in a chat with BBC Pidgin, where she stated that she’s willing to settle down with the right man.
The thespian noted that she’s not willing to suffer with any man as she has done so in the past.

According to her, the man has to meet a certain standard to deserve to be in her life.
In her words,
“No be say I no fit keep man, are you the standard of a man that should be in my life? Do you deserve to be here? Na man wey deserve to stay na im dem dey keep.”
The thespian also noted that society loves the idea of ‘suffering women’ and no one wants to suffer anymore.
Addressing the notion that successful women can have it all, Tonto said it is laughable to think that a woman cannot have it all while a man can.
Recall that Tonto’s marriage with Olakunle Churchill crashed in 2017, two years after the couple got married traditionally in 2015.
The movie star later dated anti-corruption activist and chairman of Anti-Corruption and Integrity Forum, Comrade Prince Kpokpogri.
The relationship which lasted for about three months came crashing after a leaked phone call between Kpokpogri and a socialite emerged online.
This was followed by accusations of blackmail and cheating from both parties.
