Nigerian singer and founder of the Marlian Music label, Azeez Adeshina Fashola, popularly called Naira Marley, has released a statement denying any role in Ilerioluwa Oldimeji Aloba, aka Mohbad’s, death.
According to Naira Marley, it is traumatic for him to bear the reality of Mohbad’s death, just as it is for a lot of people.

He said that although they have their own share of misunderstandings, he has no hand in his demise.
Naira Marley claimed that they were resolving their business dispute legally before he passed.

He claimed that he has not said anything since due to being distraught over Mohbad’s death and so as not to jeopardize the investigation being carried out by government agencies.
Naira Marley added that he has been outside the country since August 31, 2023, and he is making arrangements to return to Nigeria to assist police investigations.
