Nigerian artiste Rema has stirred controversy online after revealing he’s a virgin in a flurry of tweets.
Rema, whose real name is Divine Ikubor, poured out his emotions via Twitter on Tuesday, July 5.

The young musician gave several details about his private life, including his sex life.
Rema said he is still a virgin and that his fans and followers cannot prove otherwise.
“I’m a virgin. Y’all have no proof against this statement,” he said.

The artiste, born in 2000, also revealed that he is currently in a relationship.
The young musician went further to share his thoughts about award-winning female Nigerian artist, Tems, who recently was named the winner of Bet best international act award.
He said, “Tems is fine asf.”

Moreover, he also changed his Twitter profile picture to that of the female singer.
This action sparks plenty of reactions from the singer’s followers.
Some started asking if the singer was hacked, while others began suspecting a relationship being in the offing between the two artistes.
However, others cautioned the singer and told him that Tems was out of his league.
Rema also shared a picture of himself and urged his followers to get their permanent voter’s card (PVC) in preparation for the 2023 general elections in Nigeria.

The young musician, who has won several awards, also tweeted about popular musician Adedeji Ibrahim Balogun popular called Wizkid.
He ended his Twitter rant by saying he meant no disrespect to anyone and that it’ll be long before he tweets again.

Tems wins BET award
Meanwhile, Nigerian singer, Temilade Openiyi, popularly called Tems, was in the news again, and this time around, she picked up an award for the Best International Act at the BET Awards 2022.
The BET Awards is a renowned annual event celebrating Black excellence in culture, music, and sports.
Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, USA, played host to the 2022 edition of the award ceremony on Sunday, June 26.
The nominees for the best international act category included Little Simz and Dave, both from the United Kingdom, Dinos and Tayc, both from France, Fally Ipupa from the Democratic Republic of Congo, fellow Nigerian Fireboy DML, Ludmilla from Brazil, and South African Major League DJz, (France)
However, the talented singer, songwriter, and producer emerged victorious in a keenly contested category featuring big names from all over the world.
