Nigerian celebrity chef, Hilda Bassey Effiong, also known as Hilda Baci, on Thursday paid a surprise visit to the Guinness World Records team at their London headquarters.

The visit stirred up conversations as Hilda Baci, who had once held a remarkable record, took the time to connect with the team that oversees the global recognition of extraordinary achievements.

The Guinness World Records team shared the delightful encounter on X, expressing their joy at having her in their London HQ.

Hilda Baci previously held the record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual. Her impressive achievement was officially confirmed by the Guinness World Records on June 13th, 2023.

During her attempt in May, Hilda Baci took on the challenge of cooking nonstop for 100 hours. Although she fell short of her goal and cooked for 93 hours and 11 minutes, her dedication and hard work were still recognized by the Guinness World Records.

It is worth noting that her record has since been surpassed by an Irish Chef, Baker, and Restaurateur named Alan Fisher. Alan cooked continuously for an astounding 119 hours and 57 minutes.
