Late singer Mohbad’s father, Mr. Joseph Aloba, has cleared the name of the Marlian Records boss, Azeez Adeshina Fashola, aka Naira Marley, amid allegations of being a suspect in his son’s death.
In an interview with Sight, Mr. Aloba said Naira Marley was not present with Mohbad at the time of his death.

He said when he was informed of the fight between his son and his boss, he tried to reach Naira Marley but failed.
Mr. Aloba also talked about when Mohbad was attacked in 2022. According to him, Naira Marley was not involved, but other individuals were, according to information from his son.

On allegations of his son’s drug use, Mr. Aloba strongly asserted that he is unaware of such, even though he is aware of the intoxication practices within the Marlian group.
Speaking of the injury on his son’s hand at the time of his death, he said he was informed that it was the result of a playful fight between his son and his friend.
Mohbad’s father concluded by saying that the demise of his son was from God.
