Former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey declares Ghanaian Jollof the “Greatest of All Time”, Netizens fire back

Netizens tackle former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey for rating Ghanaian Jollof as “Greatest of All Time”

You thought wrong if you ever thought there will be an end to the age-long Jollof war.

Well, former Twitter CEO, Jack Dorsey has revived what was a ‘sleeping dog’ with a tweet he made first on December 5 and again on December 7, 2022.

In both posts, Jack shared photos of a plate of Jollof he presumably had and also captioned it with a Ghanaian flag and a goat.

The internet entrepreneur and programmer is back in Ghana months after establishing a regional office for Twitter in the West African country.

His posts apparently didn’t go down well with Nigerians who perceive it as Jack’s verdict on the Jollof war between Nigeria and Ghana.

As expected, Netizens were in the comment section to lecture, scold or advice Jack.

@MrSNoockie responded:
“If doesn’t taste like party jolluf, is just ordinary concoction rice 😂😂 Naija 🇳🇬🇳🇬”

@Milli_MG1 said:
“You sell ur Twitter go chop Ghana jollof 👍”

@vames_online commented:
“Looks horrible, come to Nigeria and get the one and true Jollof Rice”

@lomosoph12 reacted:
“Nigerian jollof will always look and taste the best”

Patrice Evra claims Naija jollof taste better than Ghanaian jollof

Meanwhile, ex-footballer, Patrice Evra recently jumped on the longstanding jollof war between West African neighbours, Nigeria and Ghana.

Evra during his recent visit to Ghana as part of activities ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup a few weeks ago claimed the Ghanaian jollof was superior to its Nigerian version.

The ex -footballer however appears to have changed his mind about what country actually makes the best jollof after tasting the Nigerian version again.
