The 22-year-old visited an impressive 150 establishments, shattering the previous record of 100 set last year by the American YouTuber, Airrack.

The record attempt, which took place in Abuja, Nigeria, on April 24, presented peculiar challenges no thanks to the city’s limited public transportation infrastructure.

Undeterred, Brian completed the entire route on foot, walking over 25 kilometres, starting and ending his journey at Chicken Republic and Kilimanjaro, respectively.

To achieve the record, Brian had to purchase and consume at least one food or drink item at each restaurant, with a minimum of 75 per cent of the orders being food.

He admitted to eating “probably enough to last a week” and made an effort to taste something from the majority of places he visited.

Brian took on this challenge to promote restaurants in Abuja and showcase Nigerian cuisine.

He wanted to inspire people from around the world to explore the diversity and richness of the country’s culinary offerings.

His favorite meals during the challenge were Nigerian delicacies such as moin moin and amala.
