Congratulatory messages have continued to pour in for a young Nigerien, Altine SAMEY Rayhanatou, as she completes her Ph.D. programme in Neuroscience at the Université de Tours, France.
With the successful defense of her thesis, Rayhanatou became the first Doctor in Neuroscience from the Republic of Niger.
She happily announced the completion of her thesis after 3 years via Twitter on Wednesday.

Rayhanatou shared a photo of her in an all-white outfit as she posed with a copy of her thesis.

Nigerian lady celebrates self-funded graduation from Canadian university
In a related development, a Nigerian lady known as Lois Tarikabor, has celebrated graduating from a Canadian university despite the discouraging challenges she faced.
The 23-year-old Communications graduate attributed her success to God while she noted that it wasn’t easy to achieve such a feat at a young age.
Lois who shared photos from her graduation ceremony said she had a tough decision to make as her parents gave her the option to either attend a private school in Nigeria or wait for a few years.

She said she declined the offer and set to sponsor herself thereby incurring a huge debt but is grateful the sweats were profitable as she bagged a diploma in communications.
