Celebrity designer, Veekee James has received an advice from a concerned fan regarding her public displays of affection (PDA) in marriage, which some view as excessive.
A TikTok user known as @geraldine_nwankwo posted a video highlighting intimate moments from James’ marriage and expressing concerns that she may be investing more in the relationship than her husband reciprocates, despite their relatively young marriage.

Drawing from her own 11 years of marriage experience, the TikTok user suggested that successful marriages require more than outward displays of affection to navigate challenges effectively.

She cautioned against overly romanticised portrayals of marriage, warning that such narratives can hinder honest discussions about marital difficulties.
“This is one of the reasons a lot of you fake it till they kpai in marriage. I’m not against PDA but ever since Veekee James got married, she has been in the news, doing too much in my opinion. This is why many ladies remain in a marriage that is no longer favourable to them because by the time you do all of these, and the marriage hits, you won’t be able to tell friends about it,” she said partly in a long video.
